The GB-001 isn't just a cassette player/recorder that rivals home cassette decks—it also delivers exceptional stereo sound with a full-spectrum stereo image, thanks to its separate left and right woofers and tweeters.

Whether you're listening to cassettes, using a wired connection, or streaming via Bluetooth, its four Hi-fi class loudspeakers (two powerful woofers for extended bass response and two soft dome tweeters for refined voices and treble) provide an impressive 104 Watts of total power output. That's enough to compete with the best connected speakers available.

But power is nothing without control. That's why we've included special features like dynamic power control to reduce distortion, refined equalization for a natural “We Are Rewind” sound signature, and a spatialization function for a wider, more immersive stereo experience.

RECORD & PLAYBACK AT ITS FINEST

This boombox features a top-of-the-line cassette deck mechanism, complete with a powerful, user-adjustable motor that includes internal speed regulation.

For recording and playing, it supports both Type I and Type II (chrome) cassettes with optimized biasing. To ensure low-noise recording and the best possible frequency response, it uses an active AC erasing head.

Like some of its predecessors, this boombox is equipped with two backlit VU meters, giving you control over playback and recording levels.

Finally, it includes a microphone input with adjustable level for live recordings.
