In the 60s, Copenhagen became a melting pot for jazz music. Local musicians with a high skill level, cultural curiosity and bookers with an open approach to new musical patterns brought many of the biggest jazz cats from the US and other parts of the world to Copenhagen.

Some legends even stayed and settled in Copenhagen - and the jazz heritage in the capital of Denmark was to that extent bequeathed.

The collaboration is a tribute to three local heroes and cornerstones of the Copenhagen jazz legacy:
Allan Botschinsky, Bjarne Rostvold & Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen.
