The idea dates back to the pre internet days where die hard beat diggin fiends would gather all information available from every record store as a part of the search for those obscure weird records that might have a drum break or a dope sample. Back when Records stores felt like heaven, a calling card was like a ticket to fulfill your dreams.
Calling up a number listed on a calling card you never know what to expect. Maybe the line is dead, the connection is lost, or you find yourself having found what you were always searching for…

Bio:
Steen Rock and ScratchMagic are both dj’s and beat diggers. They have both cut their teeths in the danish hip hop underground by DJing for underground legends as Hvid Sjokolade, Klart Dér! and Stilen R Profilen as well laying down cuts on numerous danish hip hop releases. Both of them played a big part in Nobody Beats the Beats while also for years having DJ’ed shoulder by shoulder at places like legendary Saxons, Rust, and Vega among others places.
They also share a slightly disturbing passion for breakbeats and have collected records from every corner of the world for just 10 seconds of pure drums.
